Voice on Vermont Wind

Renewable Energy Vermont (REV), a nonprofit, nonpartisan trade association representing nearly 300 businesses, individuals, colleges and others committed to reducing the reliance on fossil fuels and expanding the availability of renewable sources of power in Vermont, created this video to help Vermonters understand the implications of wind energy in the state from several perspectives.

The video includes interviews with residents, business owners and government officials near wind farms in the Northeast.  They report,

  • “We haven’t experienced anything negative from it.”
  • “We’ve had more interest from people wanting to buy our land since the project went up.”
  • “A lot of people drop in to see them.”
